About PRE

Aims and Scope: Founded in 1999, The PRE is the principal journal of the economics profession in the Philippines and is indexed in SCOPUS, RePEc, the Journal of Economic Literature and EconLit. The PRE publishes both theoretical and empirical articles dealing with economic development.  It welcomes papers about the Philippines and other developing economies and serves as a forum for discussions of the relationship between economics and other disciplines as these relate to development.

Publication Information: The PRE (Print ISSN 1655-1516 and Digital ISSN 2984-8156) is a peer-reviewed journal published biannually every June and December of each year.
